Division Winner
Baltimore - 12-5
2026 Power Rank: 2nd 2025 DVOA: 13th 2026 Schedule: 2nd 2026 O-Line: 22nd Offseason: 2nd
Harbaugh's legacy will be hard to follow for new Coach Minter to follow but the 8 win '25 season & 24th most yards allowed won't be as Minter is a D master. if the 22nd ranked O-Line improves so will their surprising 2oth PPG disappointment. Free agent losses are significant such as C Lindebaum, but 1st round pick G Leone will help as will pass rush stud Hendrickson. 12 wins is attainable with the 6th easiest schedule but we sense another early playoff exit under the new coach where adjusting to new systems & players can take time .
2nd Place Finish
Cincinnati - 11-6
2026 Power Rank: 14th 2025 DVOA: 21st 2026 Schedule: 3rd 2026 O-Line: 27th Offseason: 15th
Having the 31st ranked D, last in run D is not a recipe for NFL success & that led to a 6-11, -78 point differential season. But top-4 QB Burrow missed 10 games. If he is healthy the offense is top notch. On defense the Bengals went all in adding free agent quality in DT's Allen & Lawrence, DE Mafe, & S Cook. The LB's remain weak but if the upgraded D on paper can rise to middle of the pack this team should win 11 games and be a major playoff threat. We bet them to be in the Super Bowl against the Rams at 57-1 odds.
3rd Place Finish
Pittsburgh - 8-9
2026 Power Rank: 23rd 2025 DVOA: 12th 2026 Schedule: 18th 2026 O-Line: 20th Offseason: 9th
The Steelers 10-7 division champ season masks some issues, like their 7th most YPG on D & 25th YPG offense & a paltry +10 point differential. 7-3 in 1-score games saved them, but is statistically unlikely to repeat. The high-end draft pick O-Line has not produced and we can't fathom the facination with QB Rodgers where we think they should be trying out their young QB's with a bent for the future. WR Pittman makes a good mate for WR Metcalf, but Rodgers is no longer a Super Bowl caliber QB. They must stop chasing mediocrity.
4th Place Finish
Cleveland - 5-12
2026 Power Rank: 27th 2025 DVOA: 30th 2026 Schedule: 4th 2026 O-Line: 32nd Offseason: 6th
Coach Monken must find a QB & maybe Watson rebounds to former glory with new top draft pick WR's Concepcion/Boston, joining Jeudy as a promising unit. But the offensive line, even after being overhauled didn't improve, ranked dead last for '26. Their recent offseasons have been top notch, ranking 6th for '26. Last years' top 5 pick trade to land DT Graham & this years' Garrett for Verse & high draft picks were genius for a rebuilding team. There is a core to build off here given the draft capital, but for now, even the 4th easiest schedule can't save them.
