Division Winner
Philadelphia - 11-6
2025 Power Rank: 1st 2024 DVOA: 5th 2025 Schedule: 29th
QB Hurts, while only 20th is pass yards, was highly efficient in passer ratings. That, with massive use of RB Barkley (who we had as OPOY, 30-1) propelled the Eagles to the top in '24. O-line changes were also successful with G/C Jergens/Bechton effective & FTN has their '25 line ranked #1. OC Moore was hired by the Saints. Fagio's defense thrived with former Georgia players Carter, Davis & Dean. Add #1 pick Alabama LB Campbell who could be a steal. Still the best in the NFC.
2nd Place Finish
Washington 10-7
2025 Power Rank: 13th 2024 DVOA: 10th 2025 Schedule: 19th
Coach Quinn amassed a surprise 12-win season behind QB Daniels' flashy 495 points (6th). Tack on a playoff win over the 15 win Lions. Modest quality free agents paid off. GM Peters smartly acquired OT Tunsil for '25 & F/A WR Samuel will enhance the offense as well. The defense has secondary issues but Quinn can coach up based on scheme. Going 8-3 in 1-score games is hard to repeat, so - marginal playoff team.
3rd Place Finish
Dallas - 8-9
2025 Power Rank: 18th 2024 DVOA: 24th 2025 Schedule: 22nd
We nailed the '24 Dallas regression. Prescott pre-injury time resulted in a 3-5 record & only 3 games over 250 yards where the o-line continues to be an issue. '25 bodes no better as the WR Pickens add is not enough to mask the anemic run attack (4 games with a 100-yard rusher in '24) with All Pro Guard Frederic retiring & weak Tackle play. The o-line has a FTN rank of 29th for '25. We are very pessimistic about new Coach Schottenheimer as there were better options. The 10th ranked defense has pass rush ability where injuries crippled them in '24.
4th Place Finish
New York - 6-11
2025 Power Rank: 27th 2024 DVOA: 28th 2025 Schedule: 32nd
The Giants o-line, 32nd in '23 was middle of the pack until injuries hit hard in '24 as well as at QB. The line ranks 25th for '25. QB Wilson is less turnover prone than the departed Jones. 2024 rookie WR Nabors is a stud & the RB room was statistically better than Barkley at half the price. Experts see the Burns, Thibodeaux, Lawrence, Carter, Okereke led defense as top 10 as they add CB Adebo & S Hollins. This will be one of the most improved teams in the NFL but drawing one of the toughest schedules since 1970 their record won't reflect it.
